Re: Windows(?): Extremely poor connectivity with new encryption
Having updated I2P Android to 2.11 and let it run for several hours, performance is turning out about as bad as the Windows nodes. Most stuff used to be reachable on 2.10 while on 2.11 I can barely access a handful of sites. I checked connectivity as early as yesterday and generally it's been all pr...

Re: Windows(?): Extremely poor connectivity with new encryption
I find all of your insight extremely useful. What you described with tunnel build info being sent to the wrong DB however sounds pretty general. Any idea why it reliably seems to happen only to my nodes and a few other people's?

Windows(?): Extremely poor connectivity with new encryption
I am unsure if the crucial detail here is Windows but me and mesh on IRC corroborated not only this but also another quirk which I've seen no one else mention, so I will now speak of it all in here. On both 2.10 and 2.11 switching encryption type to any variant of ML-KEM-X25519, be it standalone or ...

Re: How to increase RAM in i2p ?
You're looking for the file wrapper.config, and in that file you're looking for the variable wrapper.java.maxmemory. The size is set in megabytes. You then need to restart I2P.

I2PSnark up/down bandwidth lost on router reset
Two routers, two machines. Both Windows. Happens with both 2.5.0 and 2.5.1. Setting the bandwidth and resetting the router then results in these values being reset. After multiple restarts the values seem random, going from hundreds of KBps to 1-2 thousand. Only affects I2PSnark. Router bandwidth is...

Subdomain name length limit for .baseXX.i2p addresses vs. PQ bday. atk. security margins?
At some point in the future I2P will need to implement post-quantum security algorithms for, among other things, digital signatures. I am not going to discuss what algorithms would be appropriate here. I am here to discuss the implications for this when it comes to destination address encoding that ...

Re: MuWire has died, development has stopped, are there any alternatives?
In the mean time I had already gone ahead and uploaded a package which I announced to multiple other places. The package is available to download on my eepsite - same as my username, just add .i2p - it is directly on the main page as a .torrent download link. When you say "run from within I2P&q...

Re: MuWire has died, development has stopped, are there any alternatives?
Alright so it's been a while, I figured I might as well say this: I have a build of MuWire's 2nd last commit with the libs exposed. There is a "muwirelibs" folder where all the libraries are visible as .jar archives and by overwriting the following: i2p-1.9.0.jar mstreaming-1.9.0.jar route...

Re: MuWire has died, development has stopped, are there any alternatives?
Ideally MuWire would be further maintained by others as it is quite matured and good at this point, though anyone taking it up would have to get familiar with all of its code. At minimum it would be nice if someone continued to release updates that integrate the latest version of I2P. Somebody needs...

Add to router family?
Is there a way to add an I2P node running the Android app to a router family, even just using HTTP calls or root? There isn't an option in the UI as far as I can tell.
